LOCAL MAN HEARS GOOD NEWS

It has been one week since I had cataract surgery on my left eye. Today I learned my vision using this “new” eye is 20/25. This is “REMARKABLE” plus. My brain is seemingly without memory of the first time I used my then new “old ” left eye, but I am sure the now experience of using my “new” left eye is a suitable stand-in for the missing memory. I would shout this good news from my roof-top if it were not for my dear wife’s proclamation:” Don’t you dare get on that ladder!” So, I will rely on this “news release” as a substitute.

Note to TV News Producers: Please do not double park your remote broadcast vans on my street. My neighbors will be pissed-off if you do.
